Manitoba's Clothing Optional Beaches

While there are many fine beaches in the province to visit in the summer, the only ones I’m concerned with here are those you can get naked at. Actually you can get naked at any of them but the police may frown upon that. There are a couple where it’s tolerated and conveniently enough they’re located right next to each other.

Current beach conditions and forecasts are shown at the right. Grand Beach is a few kilometers north of Patricia Beach and Beaconia Beach. Close enough for our purposes.

Just like Aretha Franklin sang, if you do visit one of Manitoba’s clothing optional beaches please respect your fellow beachgoers and the natural surroundings you’re in.

  • I’ve got several beach photos in my galleries and they’ve all got one thing in common, they don’t have any people in them (other than me of course). While the beaches are a public place and those going there shouldn’t have an expectation of privacy, the reality of the situation is that we have to respect each other and realize that not everyone will want their picture taken. If you’re going to have a camera there, either limit your subject matter or have the courtesy to ask someone before taking their picture.
  • Always carry out your garbage. The clothing optional areas are always in fairly good condition, let’s keep them that way.
  • Remember that it’s rude to point. Even more rude to point and laugh.
