That somewhat pale fellow there would be me. It’s a long winter around these parts in case you didn’t know so we try to make the best of our summers when the opportunities present themselves.

My real name isn’t important, I chose the “nom de keyboard” of Midnite Rider for no other reason than it sounded cool. I often look to music for inspiration and recalled the Allman Brother’s song of the same title so I went with it. I suppose there’s some slight significance in that I used to be a bit of a nocturnal creature in years past but not so much these days. By the way I’m not a total idiot, I do know how to spell.

On the employment front, I’m a 17 year veteran of the corporate wars which means my youthful enthusiasm has long since been replaced by a dark cynicism and general mistrust for all things management or union related. I’m continually amazed with how close to home Dilbert hits. It’s truly frightening. I’m in the IT world but don’t let that scare you. I use the damn things but I don’t sleep with them.

Home sweet home for most of my life has been the city of Winnipeg in the province of Manitoba in the center of the greatest country in the world, Canada. The air is clean, the winters are cold, the summers are hot, and the roads are like washboards but it all gives us something to complain about which we’re experts at. We’re also cheap too but that’s another story.

Why am I naked? Glad you asked. I started visiting nude beaches a couple of years ago and found it a great way to relax and unwind. Nothing wrong with a few souvenir pictures and since I liked how these shots turned out I thougth I’d include them.

At some point elsewhere on this site I plan to include some pages to cover my various interests but for the time being here’s the stuff I enjoy spending my time on:

• Camping (tough doing this one alone)

• Movies
• Nude Beaches (this tends to be a summer activity in these parts)
• Walking / Hiking
• Auto Racing (mostly NASCAR)

Like the song says, these are a few of my favorite things.
